Aileen used to be a non-believer who thought yoga was boring. However, things changed after she took her first yoga class when she was based in Yangon. She felt a strong sense of peace and joyfulness after the practice. Unknowingly, it became a love affair and Aileen decided to take up yoga teacher training after coming back to Singapore.
Aileen’s teaching style focuses on getting the basics and alignment right, as they form the foundations for a safe and strong practice.
She hopes to help her students discover the peace and inner awareness that one can get from practising yoga, and that yoga is not just about asanas (postures). She believes that yoga is for everyone, and we can always work around to make yoga accessible to all.
She also enjoys teaching yoga to kids, as they somehow always manage to teach her something which adults have forgotten about – being mindful and being contented with what you have.

Clara’s chance encounter with yoga was in 2009, Munich, Germany. Frequent practice had brought her calmness, mindfulness, strength, and flexibility. When she moved back to Singapore in 2010, she picked up running and HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). These high impact, high intensity activities resulted in stiffness and injuries. She relooked into her exercise regime and started regular Hatha yoga practice. She is a firm believer that regular yoga practice heals the body both physically and spiritually. She finally took her 200YTT course after almost 10 years of regular yoga practice.
Over the past few years, yoga has been a big part of Clara’s life. She continues to expose herself to different types of Yoga like Aerial and Ashtanga yoga. She enjoys inspiring others to improve wellness and committed to long-term health and fitness goals.

Daphne is a registered yoga therapist, movement educator, bodyworker, and a specialist in somatic therapy. A self-professed body-mind nerd, she is always exploring the underlying principles of the human brain-body connections and movement patterns as embodied relational beings. Daphne applies principles of kinesiology, somatics, evidence-based research on the nervous system, trauma physiology as well as traditional yoga philosophy in her work. She helps people home their sensory awareness and embody the adage of a mind-body connection so as to fully experience life. She has helped people of all ages rehabilitate injuries, regain neuromotor functions, manage chronic pain, and work through trauma. David is an experienced and passionate Yoga teacher since 2003 and Pilates since 2013. His initial practice was power-based and fast paced, which in his own word was an “aggressive” one.
A major head injury from a car accident in 2003, however, presented an opportunity for David to take a closer look at his practice as severe headaches and giddiness from the head injury would strike him whenever he practiced. He had to slow down his practice and after patiently working with himself for close to a year after the accident, he had a great recovery, and his practice was beautifully transformed.
He now teaches from the belief that Yoga and Pilates can heal when practiced intelligently. His aspiration is for students from all walks of life to have a sustainable and satisfying Yoga and Pilates practice. With an emphasis in helping students build a strong foundation in their practice, his teaching marries strength and flow, and his reminder to his students is always to move from the core (in all senses of the word). With continued fascination and passion, Yoga and Pilates will stay as a lifelong project to David.

Grace started practising Pilates and yoga after damaged and degenerated knees put a stop to games and more active activities such as cycling and hiking. After several months of practice, she was able to take stairs again comfortably, toned up and eventually was able to train with weights and indoor cycling, getting certified in Les Mills BodyPump, BodyBalance and RPM. With continued practice she began to notice more subtle improvements in the body-mind complex; being calmer as well as physical changes such as lower resting heart rate and body fats level.
She is convinced that everybody can enjoy the benefits of regular practice of yoga and Pilates, and invites everyone to try out the practice and start noticing their mind and bodies.

Upon reaping the benefit of regular yoga practice, she decided to deepen her knowledge on yoga by diving into a 200hrs Teacher’s Training Course at Tirisula Yoga in Singapore and further enhance her knowledge and practice with 300hrs at Association for Yoga and Meditation in Rishikesh, India. She is also a 500hours certified Yoga therapist. She works with patients of varied health conditions and has witnessed the vast improvement on her patients who underwent treatment with her.
She is a firm believer in holistic therapy for overall mental and physical wellbeing. Hence, she armed herself with some useful skills in Swedish massage, sports massage and Myofascial Release. Additionally, she is a Himalayan singing bowl practitioner and is also an apprentice from the internationally renowned Singing bowl pioneer – Master Shree from Nepal.
Hazel is also a regular Pilates practitioner due to recent injury. This beautiful practice has helped on her recovery journey. With keen interest in adding this beautiful practice into her teaching, she has completed Intensive Mat Pilates and Intensive Reformer Pilates Teacher Training under Stott Pilates.

Jaclyn started her yoga journey in 2004 with the simple intention to improve her health after discovering one morning that she had difficulties grounding her heels due to her love for high heeled shoes. Yoga has not only helped her in her flexibility issues but brought her back to sanity when a tragic event struck her family in 2018.

Jaclyn started her yoga journey in 2004 with the simple intention to improve her health after discovering one morning that she had difficulties grounding her heels due to her love for high heeled shoes. Yoga has not only helped her in her flexibility issues but brought her back to sanity when a tragic event struck her family in 2018.

Joanne discovered yoga in her teens watching ‘yoga for health’ on TV. However, work and life took priority and she embarked on an exhilarating career in Information Technology, working with many of the largest corporations in the world and government departments in Asia solving technical and business problems.
She moved to Hong Kong in 2008, and was able to practice yoga at Pure Yoga more regularly while maintaining a full life with family and full-time profession in IT. She then moved to Beijing and stopped working in 2014. She is grateful to have had the opportunity the Foundation Yoga Teachers’ Training with Patrick Creelman in Hong Kong. She is a 200-Hour certified Yoga Teacher, working toward her 500-Hour certification, and has begun teaching since Oct. 2015.
Yoga has given Joanne tremendous benefits and experiences in her life both physically and mentally. She has found that the practice of yoga brought her vital energy and made her feel healthy and peaceful, which she believes are the foundation for a happy and joyful life. She also learned to better understand her body through regular asana practice and meditation.
Joanne’s style of teaching is compassionate, as well as caring and supportive. She advocates for accessible yoga, practices and teaches to learn more about the practice of yoga asanas to aid in healing. Leading her students by example, she teaches an alignment-based practice comprised of her 3 major influences – lyengar yoga, Vinyasa yoga and Restorative yoga.
Joanne aims to offer students a shifting and uplifting experience, with hatha/vinyasa style flow practice to create strength with intelligent alignment to safely achieve and maintain optimal health.

Julian fell in love with Zumba when he first experienced this fun and easy dance fitness workout in 2013. Since then, he has been continuously enjoying Zumba workouts, while preparing himself to now becoming a qualified licensed Zumba Instructor.
He loves how Zumba classes bring out its energy and fun through music. It feels so much like a dance party and he loves to add in a litte bit of interactive movements into his Choreo to connect with the participants, without realising an hour of working out as past. The best part, you'll feel younger and more alive and definitely a happier person!
